True to Brindley Engineering’s philosophy of promoting from within, Truong will lead the growing Mechanical Team.

LISLE, IL December 15, 2022 — Today, Brindley Engineering, one of Chicago’s world-class engineering firms in capital and maintenance projects, reliability initiatives and construction solutions, announced the promotion Alesia Truong as Mechanical Department Manager.  This is an important milestone for the talent and growth story of Brindley Engineering, an innovative, tech-forward, engineering firm founded with a vision to provide the highest level of service and client experience in the industry.

“Alesia’s journey is the perfect embodiment of our vision for success for our employees,” said founder and president, Tom Brindley. “She started with us right out of college, created her own path based on her interests, quickly fostered strong internal and client relationships, and is ready for the next step in her career with the added responsibilities as a Department Manager at Brindley Engineering.”

Truong will slowly transition into the new role and will start by focusing on getting to know the ins and outs of the current team and client dynamic. “I’m excited to bring my voice as well as my team’s voice into the managers meetings that revolve around working ON the company as well as IN the company,” said Truong.  “My goal is to build an even stronger foundation for our culture and vision and make sure that I am setting up the next generation of leaders in our company for success.”

Truong has been part of the Mechanical Department, most recently as Technical Lead, at Brindley Engineering for 8 years. As Mechanical Department Manager, Truong will be responsible for the culture and health of the Mechanical Team, maintaining insight on all mechanical projects and budgets, ensuring every team member is properly utilized, their voices are heard, and that their professional goals are addressed.

Brindley Engineering has a philosophy of hiring people who are a great culture fit and helping them grow into a role they want to pursue with passion. They pair young engineers with the most skilled veterans in the field and together create opportunity to build a career they are satisfied with.

“We are an engineering firm that doesn’t look or feel like a typical engineering firm because we are way more colorful and strive to be a place where people want to work for and retire from,” said Truong. “We achieve that through great team culture, flexibility, and the desire to deliver the best to our people and clients.”

Truong lives in Chicago, Il. She is the daughter of 1st generation Vietnamese-immigrant parents. 2 fun facts about Alesia: she recently hiked the entire Grand Canyon North to South Rim – 25 miles and 8,000 ft elevation gain.
