Gibrann has always been captivated by the seamless blend of art and science that defines architecture. He got his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After eight years of practicing in the field, his curiosity led him to explore structural engineering and design. To his delight, he discovered that the skills he honed as an architect transitioned beautifully into this new field. The ability to think spatially, solve complex design challenges, and balance aesthetics with functionality gave him a strong foundation for engineering design work. Collaborating at Brindley with other engineers and designers has been incredibly rewarding because they all share a deep passion for construction, problem-solving, and the science behind how structures come to life.

Jack Fuller began his career as a professional welder. He had the opportunity to transition to a non-destructive testing (NDT) technician, which he did for 4 years. During that time, he met a colleague and friend, Justin Arnold, who became Jack’s mentor and helped him improve his skills as an NDT Technician. They both decided to leave their employer and went their separate ways. A year later, Justin reached out to Jack and shared how Brindley Engineering has been a great place to work where he has had the opportunity to expand his inspection knowledge and experience beyond NDT inspections. Jack decided to join Brindley Engineering and has had the chance to travel to multiple states, learn new skills, and work with amazing people.

Pablo Ramirez was attending Northern Illinois University (NIU), majoring in Mechanical Engineering when he decided to check out an NIU career fair to try to get an internship. At that career fair, Pablo noticed that his ex-classmate/NIU Alumni, Michael Picard, was the representative at Brindley Engineering’s booth and learned how Michael’s career has progressed at BE. After that discussion, Pablo knew he wanted to become an intern for BE and secured that internship with Brindley Engineering where he gained real-world engineering experience in piping design, layout, and engineering include advanced 3D software modelling and field inspections. When Pablo graduated from NIU, he transitioned to be an engineer with BE and continues to expand his knowledge and grow in our industries.
