Rehal to oversee Expansion of Power Generation Program.
LISLE, IL April 15, 2021 — Brindley Engineering, one of Chicago’s world-class engineering firms in capital and maintenance projects, reliability initiatives and construction solutions, recently announced the addition of Robert Rehal as Power Generation Manager. This is another milestone for the talent and growth story of Brindley Engineering, an innovative, tech-forward, engineering firm founded with a vision to provide the highest level of service and client experience in the industry.
Rehal joins Brindley Engineering during a time when the power generation industry is headed for a new era. Older traditional methods of generating electricity are being retired and new and innovative fuels and methods of generation are being created and utilized quickly. The modernization of electrical power generation is happening now. As Power Generation Manager, Rehal will be responsible for leading plant engineering and design services, reliability and asset management programs and construction solution services to both thermal (coal and natural gas) and renewable power generation facilities and clients.

Rehal’s first on site power plant visit was when he was 6 years old in Pekin, IL. His dad worked as a lead structural engineer at a large power engineering design firm and Robert made it a habit of tagging along. In the remaining 40 years he has been to hundreds of different large power plants and industrial facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada. These places and institutions have always been a part of his life. Rehal joins Brindley Engineering most recently from Intercontinent Engineers, Inc. where his responsibilities over 2 decades spanned Senior Project Manager, Business Development Director, and Vice President.

Rehal holds a BS Business Administration from University of Dayton and a Construction Management Certification from University of Illinois at Chicago. He has played guitar and piano for 4 decades! Robert currently resides in Glen Ellyn, IL with his wife and 3 kids.
